General borrowing information:
A borrower’s first library card at RRPL is free.
You must present proof of your current Ohio address to apply.
Patrons under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the application in person.
You must have your card or photo ID to check out materials.
Borrowers’ records and borrowing information are confidential.
Once your hold becomes available, you have three (3) days to pick it up from the checkout desk.
Loan Periods:
21 days for all items except:
7 days for Rapid Reads, Magazines-to-Go, fiction videos and DVDs in the adult collection.
3 days for in-demand videos and DVDs. Limit of 15 DVDs per card.
Renewals:
Renewals can be made in person or from home via phone or computer (see Circulation desk with valid I.D. for PIN.)
Overdue Fines :
$1.00 per day 3-day videos, DVDs
5 cents per day all other materials.
Borrowers are responsible for the replacement cost of lost or damaged items, including parts.
Five overdue items suspends borrowing privileges
Charges of $10.00 or more on a borrower's card suspends borrower's privileges.
Unresolved accounts will be referred to a collection agency.
Express Check:
Self check-out is also available for privacy and convenience.
