Public Phone Policy
Many people come to the library to find a quiet place to read and study. Please respect others’ rights by observing these guidelines for cell phone use in the library. Patrons will be asked to leave the library if they fail to observe these guidelines.
Courtesy Guidelines:
- Set cell phones to vibrate or other silent mode.
- Move to a cell phone zone if calls need to be made or received. Parents must attend to their children during phone calls.
- Keep voices at low level at all times
Cell Phone Zones are designated with signs. They are located in the following places:
- Outside the building
- Greeter’s Lobby
- Back of Children’s Mezzanine
- Lower Level Hallways
For public convenience, a pay phone is available in the Greeter’s lobby.
