The library is grateful for the tax-deductible contributions that individuals, families, organizations and corporations make to the Rocky River Public Library Foundation or directly to Rocky River Public Library. Gifts are accepted and acknowledged according to the library’s Donation and Donor Recognition Policy. Families and individuals frequently donate or provide funds to purchase books, subscriptions or other materials in memory of loved ones, to honor a respected person, or celebrate a special occasion. Donations of materials, or items purchased with donated funds, must meet the gift provisions of the Rocky River Public Library Collection Development Policy. Inside each donated book, Rocky River Public Library places a commemorative bookplate in the name of the person honored and the donor.
Donation of used books for the Women’s Committee of Rocky River Public Library book sales is suspended during the 2006 library renovation.
